KRAFTKAFÈEN
Near the entrance, we have a cafe with tables, chairs, and benches both indoors and outdoors where you can enjoy hot and cold beverages, ice cream, or other treats. During the summer we serve local product from small farmers and bakeries in the area. Please note that food and drinks cannot be taken inside the exhibition halls.
In our gift shop, you can buy souvenirs for yourself, family and friends. We also have books by local authors, including Astor Furseth who has written Dommedagsfjellet, Tafjordulykka – 75 å etter, Skredulykker og Farlige bølgjer. (The doomsday mountain, the Tafjord Disaster 75 year anniversary; Historical Landslides and tsunamis in Norway)
GOOD TO KNOW
We have a large parking lot right outside the center, and plenty of space for buses. The area is wheelchair and stroller accessible. The center has an elevator for all floors. We have wheelchair accessible bathrooms with baby changing stations as well as a microwave in the cafe for heating up baby food.

Dogs and other pets are not allowed inside the center.

WHERE TO FIND US?
Tafjord is located between two major tourist attractions; Geiranger and Trollstigen and is the gateway to hikers’ eldorado; Tafjord Mountain Range. The small village still authentic and the place to go if you want to stay away from tourist crowds. The center is located in Kvislevegen 76 in Tafjord, and in walk-distance from the outdoor swimming pool.
